Blur faces in a photo

Blur or cover faces in JPG, PNG and WebP photos directly in your browser. Select the regions, adjust the blur strength and download the finished image.

How to use the tool

  1. 1Add one photo.
  2. 2Select the face regions you want to blur or cover.
  3. 3Review every region, choose blur or solid fill and click Process.

Capabilities and limitations

Add regions manually, move them, adjust their size and choose blur strength. Solid fill covers selected rectangles. The preview shows the processed image; selection outlines are not included in the export.

Your photo is processed on your device. Review all selected regions and the result before downloading.

Process one JPG, PNG or WebP image at a time, up to 50 MB and 40 million pixels. JPG and WebP are saved with recompression; PNG is saved losslessly. If blurring fails, use solid fill. Blurring does not guarantee full anonymity.

Frequently asked questions

How do I select a face region?

Add regions manually. Move and resize with the mouse or settings fields, and remove unwanted regions.

Is my photo uploaded to a server?

No. Your photo is processed on your device and is not sent to a server or third-party services.

Does blur make a person fully anonymous?

No. Faces can be missed and other image details can identify someone. Inspect the output and use solid fill where appropriate.
